DART - Diabetes Action, Resources, and Training

DART is an innovative initiative to reduce the health disparity in diabetes mellitus among high-risk African Americans living in Richmond’s East End neighborhood.

DART will utilize a community-based participatory research (CBPR) model that will use trained Peer Educators to reach out and engage the target population. In its commitment to the highest level of excellence in our services and programs, CAHN is bringing DART to the East End community, to provide education, resources, and activities in an interactive, fun and supportive environment.
